Four kinds of unclaimed money, four different routes

Unclaimed financial assets in India are not held in one place. Bank deposits go to the Reserve Bank’s Depositor Education and Awareness Fund — ₹86,917 crore as at 30 June 2026, per the Finance Ministry’s reply in Parliament. Shares and dividends go to the Investor Education and Protection Fund, reported at about ₹89,004 crore across 1,671 listed companies as at November 2025. Life insurers hold a reported ₹25,000 crore, and AMFI data puts about ₹2,638 crore with mutual funds.

Since May 2026 there has been a single government search point covering all four, at the Common Landing Portal for Unclaimed Financial Assets. It finds and routes; it does not pay. Every claim is still made with the institution that holds the money.

We act on one of these four: shares, dividends and IEPF holdings, together with the estate documentation families need when the holder has died. For deposits, insurance and mutual funds we will point you to the right portal, and you deal with that institution directly. We would rather say so than take a fee for making an introduction.

How It Works

Our Step-by-Step Process

01

Search everything at once

Start with the unified unclaimed assets portal and a Consolidated Account Statement against the PAN, which lists demat holdings and mutual fund folios in one document.

02

Separate what is where

Deposits sit with a bank via RBI UDGAM; shares and dividends with the company or the IEPF; mutual funds via SEBI MITRA; insurance with the insurer.

03

Establish the right to claim

If the holder has died, transmission comes first. The death certificate, heirship evidence and NOCs are reused across every asset class, so assemble them once.

04

File the share and IEPF claims

We prepare Form IEPF-5, the entitlement letter request, the registrar correspondence and the transmission documents, and follow them through to credit.

05

Collect the rest yourself

With the search results in hand, the bank, insurer or AMC claim is a form and an identity check. We tell you exactly what each one asks for.

Why Choose Us

The Global Equity Solutions Advantage

One search, not four

Most families who find one forgotten asset find several. We check shares, dividends and IEPF records together and tell you what else to search.

Honest scope

We recover shares, dividends and IEPF holdings. We do not charge for bank, insurance or mutual fund claims you can make yourself in an afternoon.

Estate work included

Where the holder has died, the documentation is the hard part. We prepare it under SEBI’s July 2026 transmission framework.

No advance professional fee

The first assessment is free and our fee is an agreed percentage charged after the shares are credited. Statutory costs are paid at actuals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions Answered

Start with the government’s unified portal at unclaimedassetsportal.in, which searches bank deposits, insurance, shares, dividends and mutual funds. Then pull a Consolidated Account Statement from NSDL or CDSL against your PAN, which lists demat holdings and mutual fund folios. Physical share certificates will not appear in either, so check old dividend warrants and certificates at home as well.

Don't Let Your Assets Remain Unclaimed

Every day you wait, your unclaimed shares and dividends sit idle. Our legal team has recovered over ₹250 Cr+ in assets for Indian families.
